So, Zachary Quinto, actor most known for Sylar in Heroes and Spock in Star Trek 2009, came out! Congratulations!
What’s simply fantastic about the whole thing is that he really just said it in passing. Like it was no big deal which it really shouldn’t. I’m sure some people expected it, as he’s played a number of roles in homosexual or bi men. But that has never stopped how a great of an actor he is, otherwise how the hell would the Heroes and Star Trek 2009 fandoms have been so big, when he plays pivotal, monumentous roles in the both of them.
And perhaps he will grow to be even better as he won’t need to hide an aspect of his identity anymore. So thank you Zachary Quinto, for showing us and continuing to show us that a person’s sexuality shouldn’t necessarily be a negative factor on acting ability.
